Meet Alys

dallas wedding invitations The Alys invitation, from the Regal collection, is one of my more classic designs with a unique damask design highlighted at the top. Alys is flat printed, but would look really stunning in letterpress.  The damask emblem is intricate but not overdone, and I envision it as being something you could carry through to all of your wedding day stationery.

Inspiration for a mint color scheme wasn't as easy to find, but I did finally come across some really pretty images. It's so beautiful and fresh, and I think we will see it gaining in popularity over the coming months.

Meet Palmetto

dallas wedding invitations I can't get enough of stripes right now, so I couldn't resist creating a striped invitation, and that's where Palmetto came into play. Even though it's fairly elegant in type choices, the unique layout is what put this design in the Fresh Collection.

Stripes, grey and gold (and a hint of the arrows) were my inspiration...

Meet Searose

dallas wedding invitations Searose is classic and elegant in every way and is a truly timeless design. This design was my best friend's wedding invitation 3 years ago, and we both still love it (you can see her version in my custom gallery). Searose is flat printed in the sample, but would also look exceptional if letterpress printed. Because fonts can be substituted, you could really create a completely different look with your favorite script font. Envelopes are another great way to customize your invitation suite...

I paired the light kraft colors with a light blue envelope and I love the subtle addition to the otherwise neutral color scheme.  I have way to much fun creating these boards!

Meet Isabel

With a collection of 27 designs, it's easy to overlook a design or two, so I plan to 'introduce' each of my invitations here on the blog. And since I'm often inspired by the 'feel' of a wedding (not always a theme, but that something that makes a wedding unique), I created an inspiration board that I think compliments each invitation. First, I'd like you to meet one of my favorites.... Isabel.

Isabel is letterpress printed on natural white cotton card stock and features an intricate lace pattern that was printed with a blind impression, meaning that no ink was used.  The result is striking and is even more beautiful in person (you can order a sample here).

I think Isabel could work for so many types of weddings, but paired with the green envelopes, it made me think of an elegant outdoor reception, and so my inspiration board includes simple florals, lovely neutrals, and of course, lace!

Spotted: Minted & Camille Styles

When I see a party or shower inspired by my invitation design it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, especially one as beautiful as this one. Minted featured a baby shower thrown by stylist and blogger Camille Styles, and I was so excited to see my Vintage Carriage baby shower invitation in the mix. The beautiful photos (by She-n-He Photography) speak for themselves, so I'll stop typing now. Enjoy! baby shower invitations
