Meet Vegas

vegas wedding invitations The Vegas wedding invitation, from the Resort Collection, pairs the fun Vegas wedding theme with clean style. I wanted something really chic and Vegas inspired, but not cliché, and I think I got there. My favorite part of it is the transparent overlay of the icons. The flat printing is stunning but I think letterpress would create a really amazing effect as well.

I've been getting a lot great feedback on this invitation, which is a nice surprise. I added it at the last minute to round out my resort collection, and I think it was really meant to be. When I think of a Vegas wedding, all I think of is FUN - I mean, come on - it's Vegas! When you are having a destination wedding, it's fun to embrace the theme, because your interpretation of it is likely to be unlike anyone else's!

Meet Catalina

dallas wedding invitations The Catalina invitation is the perfect balance of gorgeous vintage florals and clean type. Throw in the lovely color combo of pink and gold and this feminine invitation can't get any sweeter. The layout is one of my favorites as well.

This inspiration board was almost as fun to create as the invitation. It's such an elegant color combo. It's fresh and current but with a touch vintage at the same time! Love!

Meet Laurel

dallas wedding invitations The Laurel wedding invitation is the perfect mix of vintage and modern. The billy balls/billy buttons/ craspedia – whatever you call them - add a little charm to this modern invitation and the gingham backer gives everything a casual outdoorsy feel.

I know billy balls are seen a lot, but I still love them and if you are using yellow, they are such a great way to add a playful spin to otherwise elegant flowers, like roses or peonies.

Meet Nantucket

nautical wedding invitations Nantucket was inspired by, where else, the lovely island of Nantucket. Nautical and chic, but still playful and a little preppy, it's a great theme for any beach wedding invitation. I love the bold navy paired with the subtle grey stripes (I like my grey and I like my stripes, what can I say).

A couple of years ago, we spent a few days in Cape Cod/Nantucket and I loved the elegant, nautical feel and think a wedding in that area might look a little something like this...

Meet Rosemary

dallas letterpress wedding invitations Rosemary is a personal favorite of mine with its hand drawn feel, playful typefaces and square layout. The letterpress printing only enhances its sweet features. And while I think the square size is worth every penny in extra postage,  you could always order it in a 5x7 layout if you wanted.

I am also learning that I am a sucker for an outdoor black and white wedding. I usually associate black and white with formal, evening weddings, but I quickly learned that doesn't have to be the case. From small accents of sashes or bowties to the beautiful blooms and bridesmaids' dresses, black and white has never been prettier.
