I get a lot of requests for custom gift tags, so I know these will be a hit this year! Voting is now open so head on over and check out the awesome designs. You can click on the names or the images to go directly to the designs: Rustic Wishes, Chevron Trees, Frost, Bold Cheer, Script & Stripes.
Font Friday: Cyclone
Happy Font Friday! Today, by request, I bring you Cyclone, by Hoefler & Frere-Jones. Cyclone is striking and bold, and it comes with two extra formats, background and in-line, for easy layering. You can purchase Cyclone here for $50, but with a warning... you will want to buy every font on that site, so proceed with caution!
It's no secret that I love this font. You might recognize it from a few of my designs.... what can I say, I'm a fan!
For more font love, don’t forget to check out the picks of my favorite font friends: Alexandra & Craig from The Aerialist Press, Allison at Allison Owen Design, Jen from Blush Printables, Sophia and Andre at Brancoprata, Steph from Bubblerock, Catherine at Design Editor, Laurel atGo Against the Grain, Jenny from Hank + Hunt, Allie at Honey Bee Invites, Lauren from Lauren Elise Crafted, Jenna and Elizabeth from Little Bit Heart, Kerry from Super Swoon and Wendy at Weswen Design (#fontfriday on twitter)
Featured: Invitation Crush
Last week, I was so excited to be featured on Invitation Crush, a blog dedicated to lovely invitations, announcements and save the dates. A save the date that I designed for Kristen and Sean (who are getting married THIS weekend!) was included in a round-up of unique photo save the date cards. Thanks to Cristina of Wisner Photo, I had a stunning photo to work with.
Check out mine and several other fun photo cards here! Yay!
Minted Design Challenge: Children's Stationery
Voting is now open for the Children's stationery challenge over at Minted. I got in a few submissions, and would appreciate it if you have a chance to vote. Ahoy!, Doodle, and Read Between the Lines.
Spotted: Hong Kong Housewife
Natasha is the Public Relations Director at Minted and I recently discovered her blog, Hong Kong Housewife, which is a fun account of her life in Hong Kong. Recently, she threw a lingerie shower for a friend and sent out my 'Vintage Corset' invitation and used it as inspiration for her shower decor. Seeing one of my designs in action is the best! Check out her entire post here.
